It’s been a busy week for Team Carr Gomm popping up all across the country from Dundee to Glasgow to Falkirk.
At our Dundee Focus Group it was brilliant to hear news of the summer activities the teams have planned and how they’re incorporating Team Carr Gomm into these. From go karting to day trips, laser tag to pyjama walks everyone will soon be clocking up their miles for Team Carr Gomm!
Our North West Integrated Team in Glasgow along with their family and friends are planning a sponsored cycle and run around the Isle of Cumbrae on Saturday 25 August and aim to raise an amazing £1000 for Team Carr Gomm! What a fantastic contribution that’ll make to our £30,000 target.
At our Forth Valley Forum we heard from Angela about the Social Committee’s plans including a summer party on 20 July, here’s hoping the beautiful weather holds until then! Thanks to a donation from the CG100, our 2017 fundraising campaign, the Committee are planning new activities during the summer and beyond as well as incorporating some Team Carr Gomm miles and fundraising into their programme.
Our North East Integrated Team in Glasgow are another grateful recipient of funding from the CG100 providing summer opportunities for people to enjoy activities and trips that otherwise wouldn’t have been available to them.
All our community development projects and activities are tackling social isolation and loneliness in communities throughout Scotland, so if you haven’t already please sign up to Team Carr Gomm, pledge your distance and fundraising targets and help to Stomp out Loneliness!
